My new favorite thing!

Well, after 13 months Abbe finally will tolerate Brady touching her. I think he has fed her enough food from the highchair to win her over. We were amazed the other night when she let Brady try all sorts of news things!!! I think he was pretty excited about it too!

Monkey Joe's

So we have our first trip to Monkey Joe's over the weekend! Brady wasn't too sure about it. He kept on pointing at the big slide, so I would haul us up hoping I didn't slip and land on some little kid behind me. Once we got to the top, the whining would begin. He never cried just seemed a little scared. We went down the slide 3 times, which was quite a workout for me. Brady never once cracked a smile. So, maybe another six months or so and he will like it. As for now, you will just have to look at the pictures of him looking a little unhappy.

Christmas 2008

Well we made it through all of the traveling of Christmas and we had a great time. We got to visit with everyone and Brady loved all the attention he got from our families. We spent the day with Thomas' family on Christmas Eve and then started the journey around South Carolina. We stopped in and visited with my dads side of the family in Columbia and ate a huge and delicious lunch. Then we sped off to Orangeburg to spend time with my moms side of the family. Then we spent the rest of the weekend in Columbia with my mom and dad! Here are some pics of Christmas day.

A few gifts from santa. We went small this year and thank goodness we did, because Brady got so much stuff it filled the whole truck up!

Our Visit with Santa

We went to the mall tonight to visit with Santa. Again, not the best time as Brady is not feeling too well, but I don't know when we will have another free second with his birthday coming this week and our annual trip to the beach on Friday. So here are a few pics. Sorry about some of the blurriness, but something was not quite right with my camera.

Anticipating meeting Santa for the first time.

Kaylee waiting patiently!

"I'm not gonna smile today!!"

The Greenville Parade/ Maybe next year!!!

So yesterday we bundled Brady up and headed downtown for the annual Greenville Christmas Parade. We put on his hat, gloves, and his heavy coat and hit the street to find a spot. Before we had been out there for more than 10 minutes Brady decided he did not want to stay outside. I guess it was a little far fetched for us to think that Brady would make it through the parade that started only 30 minutes before his normal bedtime. Not only was he tired, but he hasn't been feeling great this weekend. He has yet another runny nose/ cough that I have treated with everything possible. Here are a few before and after pics of our short trip!

THE MOMENT YOU HAVE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR, AN UPDATE!!!

So we have some great news..... Brady is walking and is all over the place. He has been a little under the weather lately with a nagging cold/ cough, but he is on the mends and hopefully will be back to his normal self by Thanksgiving. So here's a video, sorry you have to turn your head and some recent pictures of Big Boy!

TRICK OR TREAT

We had a great Halloween night. I don't know that Brady had any idea what was going on, but he enjoyed riding in the wagon and eating fruit chews. Imagine that, he liked to eat!!! Here are a few pictures of our little rock star!

Yes, I am holding his arms so he doesn't rip the sunglasses off of his head. Thank goodness when we went trick or treating he forgot about them and left them on!

Ha ha mom! I got my glasses off!

Dude, aren't you cold????

We have a word

I am so excited that I finally understand at least one word that Brady says. He talks all the time but most of what he says has no meaning, besides the occasional mama, dada, abbe, and no. He definitely said many times today the word "thank you". It started when I was talking to my mom on the phone. Amazingly he said it a few times when I asked him. Then Thomas came home and I told him about it. Here's a video of us attempting to get Brady to say it one more time!! You tell me what you think he says!

Chocolate

Yesterday Nadine made chocolate "biscuits" aka chocolate candies. When she was telling Thomas and I about them we couldn't get our brains around how a biscuit with chocolate would be good, until we figure out she was trying to say cookie. They were made with cornflakes and were actually really good. Who doesn't love anything chocolate though? We let Brady have a taste. He loved them too!!!

I think he liked it!!!!!
